Restaurant accepts request
We forward your reference and address. Restaurant verifies the ticket in Toast or Square and accepts the delivery request in their system.
You pay restaurant for food
After acceptance, you pay the restaurant directly via their Toast or Square link or in-store. Food payment stays 100% with them. No commission.
Restaurant prepares + Ready for Pickup
Kitchen prepares your order. When finished, restaurant taps Ready for Pickup in their RSG Business Portal — right beside the Rewards QR scanner in a separate clearly labeled section.
Driver accepts delivery
A Don driver accepts only after Ready for Pickup. Driver assignment triggers your separate delivery payment step — food and delivery are never blended.
You pay delivery fee
After driver accepts, you pay the separate delivery charge: $4.99 minimum includes the first mile, additional mileage applies beyond one mile. You see the total before confirming.
Pickup + delivery confirmed
Driver picks up the sealed, ticket-verified order, confirms pickup, then confirms delivery at your door. Tracked by delivery reference.
Food payment
Restaurant keeps 100% of food check
Your food order and payment are processed directly in the restaurant's Toast or Square POS. Buildy does not hold food money, does not charge a commission, and does not appear on their settlement. The receipt is theirs.

How acceptance and Ready for Pickup work
Don Delivery is restaurant-accepted and driver-accepted by design. You submit details and see your estimate first. Restaurant accepts, you pay them for food directly, they prepare it, then they tap Ready for Pickup in their RSG Business Portal — beside but clearly separate from the Rewards QR scanner.
- Restaurant sees your order reference and address — no new food to cook until they accept.
- After acceptance, you pay the restaurant for food via Toast or Square. Restaurant keeps 100%.
- When food is ready, they mark Ready for Pickup. That is when a driver can accept.
- After driver accepts, you pay the separate delivery fee — $4.99 minimum for first mile plus additional mileage beyond one mile — with estimate shown before payment.
- If restaurant declines or times out, you are notified and delivery fee is never charged.
- Driver picks up sealed order only, confirms pickup, then confirms delivery.
