Get the XL as you can turn off the lower paying X trips if you wish and get a gas engine. You don’t want an EV, you’ll spend too much time charging, not making money and at charging stations costs more than gas.

Since you won’t have a home charger powerful enough which needs to be installed by a electrician to take advantage of cheapest home charging prices.

If you install Mystro, a third party app, you can control the X trips but using filters so your taking the profitable ones and not being overloaded with garbage trips.

Set a $1+ per mile and $20+ per hour with a $10 minimum pay per trip to start and work up from there until X slows down enough your getting the few XL trips that come in which pay much more

Your Acceptance Rate and Uber Pro Status is going to take a hit, but it doesn’t provide anything worth a dam anyway.

Just be warned Uber will kick you offline and log you out, wipe your preferences every three declines, so Mystro will handle the on/off line routine necessary to defeat this but you have to agree to everything they want to set up which is disabled person control of the Uber app.

The default is to review each trip like you normally would and accept what your filters are set to, however it also reviews unwanted trips which you have to click that link and scroll down to set auto decline immediately unwanted trips.

It takes some getting used to, and seems to jam up under high demand, but it works.
