Accepted a 5 hours trip for $237.89. But what happened next ?

Was driving around suddenly got radar trip for $237.89 from San Francisco to Nevada. I did accept the trip but was thinking about it. I called the rider and told him hey I can’t go for a 5 hours trip with this traffic and return with no customer. I asked him how much Uber charges you for this ride and he informed me that he’s being charged $546.56. He said come and let’s talk.
Once I got to there I asked him to cancel the ride and pay me the amount in cash $550 he with his 2 friends agreed and we hit the 80 East to his destination.Fortunately I returned in 3.5 hours.
