• Don’t camp waiting for trips on private or business property without permission

It is generally frowned on taking up precious parking space on business or private property unless your actively participating in such business or otherwise have permission, temporary or permanently.

Businesses are trying to make money also and by taking up their parking one is denying them a parking space for their customers.

If you have an active customer or permission, then it’s okay. But as soon as your trip is over one should move off business property onto public property.

Violations could result in receiving a trespassing warning which will ban one from ever entering the property even to pickup or drop off customers. Even possible the offended party could contact Uber which may ban you completely or enact a geo fence, severely affecting your income.

Drivers parking outside hotel room windows trying to get the ping doesn’t always work. It’s like there is some sort of detection for certain places like one is way too close and one watches as other drivers take what they perceived as their trips.

Just stay on public property in a generally busy area and you’ll be fine.
