• How Uber etc. can redeem themselves and stay in business

    Yea I know WTF? Right?

Okay these gig companies operate in below sustainable amounts for drivers right? It’s how they survive or hope to anyway.

Like it or not they are providing a service and a lot of the poor’s needs are being taken care of.

If someone wants to give another a ride or deliver something to them at their own expense why not let them right? Heck charities do it all the time.

What the problem is Uber and these gig companies being deceptive and conning people to drive for them, even placing ads on websites where people go to look for traditional employment.

What if national laws were created that required these gig companies to be more honest in their advertising and on these apps that doing gig work on this platform is NOT profitable to most.

Sort of like a cigarette disclaimer tobacco companies have to do.

It’s the widespread deception of drivers that’s the problem.

If most know it’s charity after costs then at least they know the truth right away.
