I wish I could go home right now…
I’m 10 hours in to a 12 hour shift. Closing time at the theme parks went ok (just ok) got some late night business and a couple airport fares. Sitting at $265 gross revenue on approximately $130 in expense.
($80 cab (transit van) and less than half a tank of Dino juice used, so reality $50 in gas/tolls is probably higher than what it really is.
I’ve been parked for an hour but I can’t turn the cab in until 9:00 am. I’m going to owe the cab company money when I turn the car in so a late night return isn’t possible because they won’t take my money until 9:00 am.
This is one of the few things I don’t like. I mean I should make like $130 on this shift, for a slow morning that doesn’t bother me but like damn… I would have gone home an hour ago with the exact same money and been in bed by now.
Also thank god I don’t have to pee. The hotel I’m parked at has a waterfall.
But I’m position one for a zone (mini fifo zonethat has quite a few hotels in it, including the Hilton I’m parked at (not officially a cab stand but they don’t give a shit about me parking here.
