Calling all ‘import’ drivers, unemployed/underemployed, have a car? You can work for uber as a value to them creating just enough cash flow to ‘survive’ and provide a service for uber so they can make big profit for them & the shareholders. If you don’t mind sitting around for hours sometimes between $3-5 rides, maybe make $100 in a day or more depending on if you want to drive all over the place at your expense and time then at the end of the year you can pay the feds too. Driver pay rates in our region are below what they were over ten years ago when they came into our region? In the beginning we would get $2.00 per mile + .12 per minute on X and $2.90+ .17 per on XL, the uber fee was 20%.
Now to make more than $1 per mile is fleeting. Trip radar is designed to make you desperate enough after they deny you many good trips you don’t get to take a mediocre ride for lack of radar ‘love’ coming your way.
I always love it when a driver ‘pours’ a bunch of their stats out to prove they are the exception making a lot of money. Maybe once in a blue moon you can do ok ‘on paper’ So ‘pour’ on your ‘uber stats’ if you like? If drivers are willing to work for chump change, then nothing will change. Ponder that ‘public servant’ at your cost.
