Tesla Model Y (Black Ext/White Int) for Uber Black
I am about to buy a Tesla Model Y for ride-sharing and wanted to focus on the higher-end services for Uber and Lyft.
I remember researching a while ago that drivers were able to get away with the white interior/black exterior for the Black/Lux/Preferred platforms on both. I was curious if anyone could confirm this or knows if it would be possible?
I prefer the white interior as I am only going to be doing this for a little while to help pay down the car and with my old Acura, essentially I never had to show them in person; just do the Jiffy Lube check-up and give them the insurance, etc. which I “think” only shows exterior color.
I had a 2006 Acura that was being driven as a 2016 on both platforms because service was good and although ineligible, no PAX ever complained and many actually thought it was a 2016. 😂
I am looking to order fairly soon so any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I am in the San Diego area.
