Uber Surge Display Glitch
Ever since the last update, both of my Android phones (S21 and J7 Perx) have a problem with the Uber Driver app. To explain, let me break down what the app display into several elements:
1. Surge
2. Gray $$$ clouds
3. Pointer for car locationBasically, every time I open the driver app OR the surge automatically updates, any or all of the above may or may not display. I might get lucky and get all 3, like normal. Sometimes I’ll get the surge but no clouds. Sometimes it’s the clouds but no surge (the worst). And sometimes it won’t show the arrow where my car is located, though it clearly knows where I’m located as indicated when I click the recentering/target button.
When either of my phones won’t display the surge, I have to close and reopen the app sometimes once, sometimes 3 times, sometimes 20 times in a row to get it to finally display it.
