Wholesale piracy going on at JAX
Uber and Lyft drivers just sitting at the curb in numbers waiting for an illegal walk-on because the waiting zone is like 7 minutes away in a shopping center parking lot. It’s become routine, even I was asked by customers when waiting for my pax to walk over.
Customers are them asked if they want to go on app or off for cash.
If on app they are taken down the back road behind the airport where they are out of the zone and thus the closest available driver when pax orders an Uber.
This is going on continuously and Uber and Lyft (and customers if an accident occurs) are being routinely burned. 😆
The only enforcement is the airport security supposedly giving citations to drivers that sit too long, but it’s rather easy to see the cop coming and just make a loop and return. They actually like being boxed by other drivers trying to get their pax. 😆
There is no illegal taxi enforcement that I can see.
Don’t do it everyday and your good.
This is what Uber and Lyft have bred, massive piracy. 😆
Serves Uber and Lyft right. 😂
