When I order from Dominoes and Pizza Hut those drivers call me and I come downstairs to get my food and I still tip them of course. Some of them don't even drive into the building gates or even come inside the doors of the building lobby, I go all the way out to the sidewalk to get it. I don't think anything of it really, I actually don't want these people to come to my door and be up in my space, bringing it to my building is good enough. I can meet them there.
If UBERS policy is that you have get off your butt and go to the curb to get your food or it gets cancelled then… cancelled it would be if I'm still waiting after 11 minutes with rare exception.
Unfortunately, I disagree with you. You're simply making up your own rules, which is cool, but I think your satisfaction rate will suffer eventually. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't find Uber claiming to be a curbside only service anywhere in the app or website. Could you direct me to where I can find such information?
That happen to me today. I called the customer I was outside and he said isn't the door open for you to enter. I waited 12 minutes for him to come outside ?
I'm in LA and on the Uber Eats/ Delivery video, it has the driver going to the customers' door for drop off . So I don't know if they changed the whole curbside only thing . Maybe that's why people think it's delivered to their door. idk

They are aggressive because Grub Hub, Postmates and DoorDash go to the door ; me personally, don't mind going to da curb ?
