Uber and Lyft are like gaming apps for drivers.

We can’t just take whatever trips come our way, because these apps are gaming apps they’re designed to trick you into doing what they want you to do. And that doesn’t mean they’re designed to screw you over per se. But if they can make more money off of you taking bad trips, trips, that aren’t the best for you. Then they’ll do that. So set your own criteria, whatever might be, if you want to use the ratio plan, like I use them focus on neighborhoods. Maybe I know there are drivers out there. That sit parked for hours at an airport or in a neighborhood waiting for a big 10 $20 surge.

Or they’re going to sit at the airport hoping for a hundred dollars, $200 ride. That’s okay. I have no problem. There’s no bad way to drive. As long as it’s your intent to drive that way. Don’t drive the way the apps want you to drive, drive the way that you want to drive.
