UberX Saver is an Uber option that allows you to wait a little longer for a pickup in exchange for a lower price on your ride. However, UberX Saver is not available during peak hours.
In some locations, Uber may charge a per-minute wait time fee if you don’t board the vehicle within a certain amount of time after the driver arrives. For example, UberX riders are usually charged a per-minute fee if they don’t board within two minutes of the driver’s arrival, while Black or Black SUV riders are charged a per-minute fee if they don’t board within five minutes.
